Annville is twelve miles down Route 422 from our shop, past Lebanon, about twenty minutes. Route 422 is West Main Street through town, with North Annville and South Annville Townships on either side of Annville Township. We are on it regularly.

The first is Lebanon Valley College, founded in 1866, with about 1,700 students on a 370-acre campus; the rental houses and duplexes around it turn over every August and need paint and floors turned around fast. The second is the Annville Historic District, on the National Register since 1979, with Federal, Georgian and Victorian houses going back to the 1700s. The Mary Gass House at Cumberland and King Streets, built in 1753, is still the oldest building in town. A stone house near the district and a rental near campus are different jobs, and we treat them differently.
